We play by the rules and ask for help when we’re not sure

-
Anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions and anti-boycott laws
-
Import and export control laws
-
Human rights laws relating to child labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking
-
Labor laws, including those governing minimum wages and working hours
We never participate in prohibited transactions, such as the import and export of certain goods and technologies, and we never deal with sanctioned individuals or businesses.
Trade Laws
Economic sanctions are trade restrictions imposed by governments that prohibit doing business or interacting with certain entities or individuals who may be sanctioned due to illegal activity.
All employees are required to follow these and all applicable international trade laws. If you have a role in the exchange of information or technology from one country or another, work with your manager and the Legal & Compliance team to follow all trade rules and properly document the materials, technology, or services that are being imported or exported.
Sanctions and other trade regulations are constantly evolving. If you don’t know whether trade or export controls apply to your scope of work, don’t take a chance. Contact the Legal & Compliance Team.
Where this shows up:

- Transmission of data or goods from country to county
- Entering into agreements with third parties, particularly individuals or companies outside of the U.S.
